...well for us boomers it was, "don't trust anyone over thirty." It gave us a sense of power and identity…now, I regret not listening to that very wise good-hearted generation. But, we had a lot of negativity to fight against too. Now, what do young adults have to fight against? nothing much ... maybe our arrogance and maybe the fact that society has gone overboard in rebelling against everything and anything!! If they are fighting politically against the old hippies who happen to still be in office as career politicians, that is good.

So , what's been lost is the hand off of wisdom , maturity , and knowledge. Is it because the elders failed or because youth in all it's greatest idealisms - no longer listens ? Me thinks its youth 's fault !
Grey hair need not bring envy given a little respect for lessons learned and the ability to pass them on yet even in this. there is ever the new the quick moving flow towards the lake of the future grey hairs cannot keep up with that current and are often caught in the under toe Every time you think that age is given too much ado consider jumping into the breaches they can handle and see which you prefer the river you flow with gladly or the one that requires more tact and wisdom than deftness in keystrokes. If you chose the latter bully for you chances are you wont though and then you have naught to disparage but yourself.
