Discussions and debates of all sorts tend to hinge on definitions and interpretation of words.
Do you ever find you have to refer to multiple resources to find definitions encompassing all variations of what you've considered common uses for words? I am always surprised to find an aspect of a word poorly articulated or even absent in a definition from one source only to find it clearly established from another.
What source(s) do you rely on or consider authoritative and why? Is there any consensus here?
