She tries to be his everything.
His smile his laughter.
She trys to love and trust unconditionally.
Among all she does she is left with nothing more than empty promises and tears.
Lost inside her tears wondering what she ever did so wrong.
She tries to smile and keep her head held high.
She moves through her days smiling on the outside,
And yet she is so lost inside her tears within.
Wondering why she is never enough.
Her eyes once filled with light have now dimed.
Her smile she can't hold,
The tears begin to show.
