Life in prison

                     Prison is a wasteland
                    where human flesh decays
                    Meaningless deprivation
               Numerous appeals and continuous delays.

Physical senses dull, emotions start to fade
                    While the spirit slowly wanes.

As life slips away from this hallow frame
                   Prepares to greet the day
                    When misery and grief
                    come to its final end.

                  Thereâs a shout of âhallelujahâ
                   My debt is finally paid!

                     Prison is a wasteland
where death is a welcome friend!

Just thought I would post. I saw the title "Life in Prison" and was wondering if someone was expressing their experience. Which would be a rarity.

Then when I come into the forum, you simply have posted a statement or poem, per se, for people to read. I'm not sure what your objective was...besides getting people to read your statement.

There is nothing here to discuss, which is what forums are for. I don't mean to come across as harsh, but common sense goes a long way when used properly.

You should put it in a hub.

Maybe this person just came out of Prison and wanted to express their feelings....?
