This is considered one of the toughest weeks of the challenge. How is everyone doing?
I'm still behind this year but I am still plugging away.
It was my first attempt and by 20,000 words, my story was beginning to come to a very nice end. Didn't see how I could stretch it to even 40,000 words, unless some characters died and came back from the dead. So, will give it another go next year but will finish the story I've written so far and save it.
Wishing you good luck with it.
Last year I reached 50k but didn't finish the story. I started this year's nano by finishing that story. That went well.
Then I started a new story which went a little slow. Then I discovered I overwrote the wrong file and lost over 2000 words.
I am depressed and considering the white flag myself.

So how is it going for everyone? Are the words just flowing or are staring at a blank document praying for inspiration?I'm doing the latter and procrastinating in Hubpage forums.

It just occurred to me that it's almost November. I know an army of excellent hubpages writers undertook this contest last year. What about now?
