No one has answered my aquestion about the most humorous writer. Here it goes again....... Who makes you burst out laughing when reading him, eventhough you are alone?
Dr. Ruth Westheimer ... erm, wait ... she's not a comic writer.
Terry Pratchett, Christopher Moore. They make me giggle.
Garrison Keillor, Bill Bryson. Augusten Burroughs
Amen to all three.
Stephen Fry, Douglas Adams. And believe it or not, Jane Austen can be funny at times.
Didn't we already answer this one?Anyway. . .for me, for a writer of books, it has to be Tom Sharpe and the "Wilt" books. Never laughted out loud so much.
And . . for a writer of articles, then it has to be Jeremy Clarkson in the Sunday Times (its also online for free). He is simply hilarious.
Robert Anton Wilson
