I've read on the forums several people who are making money on their hubs that are poetry and/or short stories. Have you had success with this? What is your method for posting creative works as hubpages (regarding attracting traffic, etc.).
I just published my second "creative" hub - the first was a short poem, and just now, a short story I wrote years ago. I posted it in three parts.
What do you find works best for you when setting up creative hubs? Do you add specific capsules, play with the tags? Do you backlink? To you link to other hubpages?
My short stories have never really made what I'd call money here on HubPages, which is why I began to write non-fiction. However, I did eventually write a Hub to promote some of my short stories and, for the most part, their traffic has improved.
Nowadays, I never even consider making money on fiction Hubs. When I publish one, it's just for the fun of it.

How are you promoting your poetry and fiction writing now that Hubpages is putting most of it on idle?
