I have been writing a series of western short stories using a narrator who talks in dialect. I have been continueing the series at the encouraagement of readers. However, it seems that my hub score has gone down--is this coincidence?
I suspect that the robot or whatever sees the mispelled words etc. and does not know it is a character speaking.
That's a good observation.. I've published a poem that uses classical language (thou, o'er, whilst etc) and it too got a low score upon publish.I'm guessing you've probably hit the nail on the head with your insight.
