Hollow stumps.

-Why I write-

I write so you all can read my writing on the wall,

So in the end I'll be remembered,

When death gives me my call.

My writings in the book of time,

My life on the jaded edge,

To read the thoughts inside my mind,

To be resurrected from the dead.

I need to leave my mark you see,

When my soul has drifted,

The words I leave behind you see,

They all must be recorded,

They must be shared with all,

These words must not be horded.

If in this life my words,

There's no money made,

Then curse my words to poverty,

Forever after my grave.

Nice expression of the need to be recognized and remembered even after death. Well done.

Somewhat creepy but still very good. Maybe we'll come back after kicking the bucket.
