Haiku Poem; About First Love

Heart beat,fluttering
clouds dancing across the sky
a woman in love

A strand of her hair
falling across eyes of blue
looking at me,smiles

Blushing,a rose bud
coyly lowers her head as
a breeze passes by

Innocence,her charm
translucent beauty,like a
fragile porcelain

Not yet a woman
pure as pristine mountain snow
no longer a child

Standing on tip toes
her quivering lips reaches
for a lover's kiss

Anticipating
the afterglow of sunset
a tremulous touch

When two become one
passion awakens, and her
winter turns to spring

Hands around my neck
a cherry between her lips
sweet and inviting

White crane stirs the pond
as a silent reed gives life
to a lover's song

A Swallow,swiftly
autumn's light,her fading kiss
ends a secret tryst

A sad expression
reflection so deep, her eyes
echos the dark night

Nothing left but memories....
Nothing left but memories....

SilentReed the simplistic echos of love reverberates in my soul. I can see the image you portray here. Love is in the air I can sense it:0)

lovely, delightful poetry at it's finest from your not so silent pen. Bravo, I rate it Up and Up some more.

A pleasant way with words; never forced or unnecessary. Reading this is like floating down a river in a canoe. It's organic and natural. Well done.

Doug Turner Jr. ~ Thank you for your comment. I found it to be in the chronological order of the seduction in these poems. Pleasant never forced. like floating ,natural.....and then I misread the word "ORGANIC" I thought you meant "ORGASMIC"......:))

Magic flows from your pen my friend with these words that you weaved, a gift you give us and I accept them in reverence. Your last two thoughts were simply enchanting and powerful.

"White crane stirs the pond

as a silent reed gives life

to a lover's song

A Swallow,swiftly

autumn's light,her fading kiss

ends a secret tryst"

Vincent Moore ~ With each new petal unveiled...it is the Haiku that is magical as it takes us into new and still to be explored horizons. Thank you for your appreciation.

AudreyHowitt ~ Thank you for the share... The one about the white Crane is a metaphor of her lover expressing his love.

Jhamann ~ Thank you for your comment,Jamie. They do flow well together,

It seems natural

winter snow melting in spring

a bud takes a peek

~

When two lovers meet

love's passion overwhelms all

It seems natural :)
