I Am a Conundrum
I very much relate to the second verse especially.
I am a conundrum, a puzzle that I can't even solve
How can I when the pieces stay the same, yet they ever evolve?
I know who I am at my very core,
My deepest values and the things that I stand for
Not a person on Earth can take that away from me
Nor do those things ever stray from me
Though there are times I don't know why I do the things I do
But by looking back and thinking it all through
Sometimes I like the things that I have learned,
The things I gained along the way as the pages turned
Other times, I wish some things could be undone
Never, though, the experience itself - not one
It's all a part of me
And it's all a part of who I'll be

A mother by blood or the closest thing to it. What makes a Mother is love.
Sometimes it is not anything tangible, but an act that communicates love best. Take that into consideration when giving from the heart to a loved one. Also, recognize why love offered may not be felt.
