I Say - An Original Love Poem by Christopher Dapo
Your soft is a glitter that makes me stutter
Your smile a spell I'm willfully under
To no surprise in your eyes I wonder
The song in your heart makes mine beat like thunder
I linger, whisked away like my fingers through your wispy waves
A-gone in a conscience my heart saves
Lost in the song of your voice my mind's peace craves
I wander amongst the soft color of your skin's gloss as mine shades
I cast no grades as I compare you with the joyful time of old-time's sake
You remain in my soul incomparable with all them knaves
I know, in my heart, that you mend so, that it can't break
I, too, remain true, to protect you with the spirits of a million braves
For you, I am indebted, willfully to stay true
Forever now, in every way, that anyone ever could say, I say to you - I love you.
