Solitude

In the solitude of the journey i am more than one...

there are many parts
fractured...scrambling
searching
then coming together
finding some peace.

Always
searching
searching
searching...

yet not wanting
 to find the answer.

Maybe i've always known...
maybe i enjoy the
journey.

How complicated yet so simple
i've walked the path
before.

Yes, I like my solitude
I enjoy the walk
even in the dark
waiting
looking...
but not seeing.

Yes...
but I do see...
the dark
damp
earth
wrapping itself around me.

The
 silence of the water
encasing me
the deep depths of
nothingness.

The renewing strength
water
beckening to me
and only me.

What connection
between me and the water
the life force
encouraging
to go forward.

The comfort of earth
knowing what it knows
the secrets told to me.

Yes....I understand....
the ancient earth with her knowledge.

The wind...and her secrets
I will come to you
again
and i will be thankful.

Thee struggle
I will
acknowledge
but i will never surrender...

jujubees, fantastic imagery, personal vision, delight in earth and life and the unknown..just wonderful...

I absolutely love solitude; its when my mind, heart, imagination and whimsy takes hold and walks the earth in search of wonder...and oftentimes, finds it!

UBA!!
