Etched into my mind. Beautiful memory.
l´ll treasure this moment forever, It´s something l´ll never forget.
When a moment becomes a memory, you can tie me up,
Lock me up, throw away the key..........................
But you won´t take this memory from me.
Once a moment has turned into a memory, l´ll say it again
For it´s true. You can tie me up, lock me up throw away the key,
But this memory you´ll never take away from me.
The glorious sunshine, the brilliant sky,
Our minds so connected, we ignored passers by,
There WAS no-one else, in all the wide world,
Just you, just me, and this forming memory,
Surveying the landscape, then searching your eyes,
You doing the same as you looked into mine.
Locked in a moment, the moment will pass,
But once it´s a memory, forever it´ll last.
Feel the light breeze as it´s wafting aromas,
of wild flowers, bluebells, all sorts around us.
Heady aromas and beautiful sights,
How happy we were, all things aright,
The brook rippled by us , a wonderful sound,
So peaceful, so tender, as we lay on the ground.
Under our oak tree,. Our favourite place,
But this day our ¨special¨memory took place.
How COULD we forget, something etched into our minds,
A beautiful memory, one of a kind.
Yes, you can tie me up, lock me up, throw away the key,
But you´ll never take away my special memory.
