Miracles happen every day

Every Tiny Baby Is A Miracle.

I´m mesmerised as l look down at your tiny face,

Those huge blue eyes stare back at me,

a lump comes to my throat.

Because l know those eyes, you see...

Many times before, l´ve looked at, thought of,can´t resist,

My Girl With Most Beautiful Eyes.!

Now here you are, - a tiny bundle,

looking up at me in wonder? This is not my mother!!

Who IS this strange woman?.

You have your mothers´eyes dear boy,

you´re going to be so handsome.

l hope you have the nature too,of your lovely mother.

So generous and kind is she,

A unique, and loving person.

My little man, l can´t resist, to hold you tight and plant a kiss

upon your smooth-skinned forehead.

Ö dear.! you didn´t like that kiss

Your bottom lip is quivering,

Don´t cry, sweet one, you are so loved.

l put you over my shoulder, and gently in my quietest voice

l sing a lullaby to you.

Amused, l realise, at once !! You´re crying stops. You´re silent now.

But l shouldn´t be surprised at all

Your mum and dad both sing to you

and have done since you were in mums´tummy.

The memories come flooding back of how l also used to sing

to my tummy, when l was soon to become a mummy.

l sing the same old song. It seems to work, a treat.

Brahms knew how to write the notes, so perfectly in sinc,

and l put words to his great music.

words to suit you, l think.

You are a miracle, here in my arms, as every baby is.

A miracle of life,

bringing hope,

Hope for future generations.

hope for more love in our world,

Hope for every sad and lonely soul,

that little ones like you will grow and make

the world much better.

A miracle of life you are, my precious little Ollie.

Oh!!! Epi....You are so kind.

I´ve been on hubpages for 17 mnths and kept my toy cat and the candles to represent Dim Flaxenwick. It´s taken me all this time to pluck up the courage to put a photo of myself. Thank you for the compliment.

There is nothing more amazing than a baby--especially when he is related to you. The picture made me think of John Lennon's "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boy." =:)

yes. I couldn´t help but write it just as it happened. Imagine my horror inside when he 1st looked at me and his botton lip started to quiver.!?

He loves me now though, I think.

I wish you every happiness with your new role as a grandmother. You can´t beat it.
