Pursue your dreams
Inspirational quotes - Dreams
"A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world." (Quote by Oscar Wilde)
In the moonlight of my dreams I have traveled many places I've never been, met strange faces, and taken part in things I would never do in the reality of daily life. I have been a member of a S.W.A.T team, head of a secret military mission, raced my favorite sports car with the top down through the mountains at speeds over a hundred miles an hour. Those are my favorite dreams. The ones where I can be or do anything with no fear. Another dream I enjoy is when I can breathe under water. The situation is usually something scary. The end of the world, a huge title wave, or a bad accident. Being forced into the water I panic, gasping for air so that I may not die. Then all of a sudden I relax and I am able to take a deep breath. It is the most refreshing, incredible feeling I have ever experienced. Then I am free. The majority of my dream states however, is spent in fear. The devil is out to get me.I am in constant battle with him. I am haunted by night terrors of evil spirits. Not only in my sleep but when I am awake as well. I have seen and experienced horrific ordeals in my nightmares that would make the scariest of all horror movies seem like a fun time at the playground. They inspire me to keep a journal of these events. Weather it be a book or a movie, it might make for a best seller one day. I have never invisioned in my sleep the dreams I want to become an actuality. To be an accomplished writer is the future hoped for. A dreamer I am, but putting those dreams into action is imperative. Therefore, the dawn is not my punishment, but my inspiration to pursue my dreams. From the daydreams that begin at daylight to the adventures persevered in the night, may our dreams reach attainment.
