The Battle: A Poem
Before you read this poem, I think it is important for you to know that my ten year old daughter wrote this poem. It is an excellent poem that I am very proud of. In encouragement for her talents as a poet, I promised her I would publish it to the internet. Please enjoy.
When the moon comes out
The darkness spreads
Just take one route
There lies some heads
The key you’re looking for is from your heart
Do not be mean
God knows your part
Therefore you have won and remember do not be mean
It is cause someone is watching.
The fear in their eyes I cannot bear
The guns going off
It was such a terror
But at last they don’t care.
