the princess tale

There once lived a fair princess.

She knew her husband was seeing a mistress.

She always tried to hide her anger.

For she knew if it was released her husband’s life would be in danger.

One night the princess was taking a stroll down the street.

She came across a demon kneeling at her feet.

“Oh princess you need help let it be said!”

“You are right demon I want to find my husband dead!”

“Princess your deed can be done for a small fee.”

“Demon I shall pay any price just for the chance to see!”

“The fee of two souls should pay us well.”

“Demon take my husband’s and mine when we are dead and condemn them to hell!”

The princess returned home and to her horror she found her husband’s dead body lying on the ground.

“I finally got what I wanted.

I just did not know I would be this disappointed.

It is a good thing I am condemned to hell.

This gives me eternity to solemnly dwell.”

This is spooky and yet exciting. A serious case of "Be careful what you ask for...". Well written and great as always, Chrissie. :)
