She Is Only Dream

You come like fog

Settling

Discriminately and completely

Descending, residing

Gathering me, into you

deliberately, discretely

presuming, my secret me

Then vanishing

Like rain upon the lake

Gone from me

with sudden finality

Disappearing - as I wake.

You come with night

Sinking

Deliberately and completely

Descending, consuming

Collecting me into you

knowingly, subtlety

going to the deep of me

Assuming

I am yours to keep.

luring me from seclusion

I embrace complicity

Vanquished - as I sleep

Dreamy prose bound up in cotton candy...As the Bard has writ, " To sleep, perchance to dream "...

Voted up and beautiful...Thanks, Larry

It gets my up, awesome and beautiful vote, arb. You are such a subtle poet and there is always moisture - water, mist, fog - are you Pisces, by any chance? Second guess would be Scorpio.

This is lovely. . . . It's this kind of a day.

Good Morning Nellieanna! A capricorn, refusing refuge from the rain! I suspect it is you, on the other hand, that is a pisces. Such a joy to read such kind words so early in my day. It is, indeed, that kind of day!

Beautiful- I connect with this, arb. In your last line you have a word I have never used before- complicity- I can only define it as: completeness within simplicity. And simplicity is connected with gentleness in the soul. What do you think of that interpretation?

Hello CM! It is a beautiful sentiment. "The meaning of a word is derived from it's.use " Simplicity to me is elegance unencumbered. It's only cloth is beauty. Thanks for sharing your interpretation. It stirs in me another write. Be well.

Aquarius with Venus in Pisces. But more Capricorn in my chart than any other sign. Accounts for my ponderosity and practicality and saves me from being a totally Aquarian off-beat misfit, I suppose. I don't 'believe in' all that stuff but it can be a little scary how sometimes fitting it is, personality-wise.

Smile.

I believe that you are peppered with all the signs, a few we have yet to acknowledge and I think you just delight in it. :)

Several, certainly. ;-> You're so perceptive, though I can't imagine delighting in being opaque. I go out of my way to be as transparent as civility allows. Maybe you delight in an opaque appearance! ;->

I have been in the company of those who would be better served beneath a veil of silence. In you, silence would be found a crime and if it wasn't, I suspect that you would make it so! :)

Whenever I have to read a poem twice, it's generally one of two things:either a little deep for me or very good. In this case a bit of the former and a lot of the latter! Thanks arb
