What I know about no

Although I have labeled this Poem as Humorous and Nonsensical, it is my intent that it might bring some joy, truth and inspiration as well.

Nothing from nothing leaves nothing

No never means go

No, no, no;

This, yes I know

I do know

That no,

Is not based

On what you do know

No is negative

No never means go

But you should know

Before you go

Any firm no,

Is definitely no

Few will ever glow

When told no

Teachers say no,

Parents say no,

Bosses say no.

Cause we don’t know;

The no brings sorrow

When we know,

We won’t be told know

Because others we know

Will know, we know

Poll about NO

Is NO a word you use allot?

  • Yes I KNOW I use NO allot.
  • NO

No doesn't mean slow

We have potential to grow

When we really know

We definitely glow

We are ready to go

To be told no,

Doesn’t mean go slow

It means no

To veto means no;

Usually based

On what we know

No, can also mean woe,

We just don’t know

We often say no

Cause what we know

Is just, so-so;

It might never grow

Like money we owe

Means a credit no-no

When no is what we know

We become a zero

We have nothing to sew,

Nothing to show;

We appear very shallow

So what we know

Is definitely non-pro

No does not mean Yes!
No does not mean Yes!

Poll about KNOW

What do you KNOW?

  • Allot !
  • Far too much!
  • If I told you all I KNOW, I'd have to kill you.
  • I KNOW far less than I should.
  • I KNOW nothing at all.

Jesus Love Me

Some say no means yes

And nothing we know

Negates the no and makes it so

Some say no means yes

But this I know about no

Yes can mean, “to know”

But never, ever no;

Unless the yes,

Confirms "no-no";

Like yes,

"I definitely mean NO!"

To know, is like a gyro;

It makes us thorough

But to know only no

And never know, know

Makes one often feel

Like a yo-yo

But Jesus loves me

This I know

And to no one

Does He ever say no

So as I go,

You now know

All I know, about no

Dr. Truthman, voted funny, useful and interesting! Susan, you are just TOO funny. You ride upside down,hehehe and now you write a comment funnier than my poem. I wrote this, this week on my phone during breaks out in the field writing insurance claims and just had to get it posted. Glad you like it. Hey, you know I had an Afro like Billy Preston when I was a teen and young adult? All my friends (black and white) were so jealous. I had all this curly hair and just let is go and grow and picked it out and WOW! Lost all the pics in Hurricane Andrew wouldn't you know. Thanks for the read and comment. Lee

I think as writers we KNOW what we KNOW and and write about it and sometimes, NO we don't know what we know. OMG, I am getting crazy, hey? (a little Canadian for you having lived there a bit in the 80's. I have been writing this one on my phone this past week while I taking breaks doing insurance claims. I guess the sun got to me....LOL. Thanks for the read, comment and vote.
