The electronic clock and timer has a preset function and for safety an auto shut off capability. It has average but unobtrusive measurements at 15 x 12 x 9’’. The 12 months warranty however is shorter than what you get with some similar models.

One 'tasteful feature' is the use of stainless steel to avoid the ‘burnt’ taste, that some complain of with the more standard coffee makers. There have been some bad user reviews for this unit, but having looked at some it appears most are due to some purchasers expecting more than available, at this price level. The unit has a 5 cup capacity with a glass carafe and does not claim to offer the versatility of a 12 cup stainless steel alternative. If you buy the DCM675BF you will get what you pay for. A simple basic reliable coffee maker.
