Cute Garden Statuary

We've got a cute little garden and I've been looking for some cute little garden statues for it. Garden gnomes are popular but to be honest they're a bit too popular for my taste. (Although, I did include a garden gnome on this list that I wouldn't mind having, cos he's so cute!) There are a number of other types of statuary you can put in your garden, it needn't be gnomes. This list is just to give you an idea of alternatives and there are more where these came from. You have a theme for your garden or just put a variety of figurines about, creating a multicultural garden! It's up to you, there is certainly a lot to choose from these days. Have a look!

Lover's Lane Frogs

The sign on this statue says Lover's Lane, which is just adorable. Other than that, it's not too frou frou, so it would look lovely even in an understated, natural garden environment. The two frogs are sitting together on the swing and the statue is made of alabastrite and metal. It measures 17.5 x 8.75 x 19.75 inches. The swing does sway and there are cute little glass bud vases on either side of it.

Garden Gnome w/ Lantern

I think this garden gnome is just adorable and I'd love to have him in my backyard. He's battery powered and the lantern lights up automatically at dusk. It's got an on/off switch as well, in case you don't want it lit for whatever reason. The garden gnome measures 5.9 x 9.6 x 12 inches and he weighs close to 2 lbs. You could easily keep him in your home if you didn't want to put him outside.

Garden Elf

If you're more into elves than gnomes, this may be the garden statue you've been looking for. This little guy measures 7.5 x 5 x 12 inches and weighs 2.5 lbs -- he's been filled to give him added stability and he's made of weather/breakage resistant material to ensure he'll last a long time. This is also an Amazon product that can be shipped out of the USA if you're shopping from overseas.

Crane Garden Statues

Now, I'm not suggestion you stick pink flamingos out in your lawn, but these garden cranes are pretty gorgeous. They are crafted from metal and are made for the outdoors. The cranes measure 16 x 15.75 x 29.25 inches high. They are really beautiful and setup is via garden stakes.

Fairy Garden Statue

I love fairies and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a female who didn't at least like them. This makes garden fairies a good bet for anyone whose got a garden. This garden fairy is made of polystone and has a natural, multicolor finish. The wings are made from wire and the statue itself stands 8 x 11 x 15 inches high and weighs less than 5 pounds.
