Evolutions Robotics Mint Automatic Hard Floor Cleaner

Updated on January 24, 2012

There are something’s in this world that has been invented to genuinely help mankind the Evolution Robotics Mint Automatic Hard Floor Cleaner is one of those things. This Mint automatic floor cleaner from evolution robotics has a highly specific function of getting your floors swept and mopped. It does a terrific job of picking up dirt, dust, pet hair, and dust bunnies that are always forming on the floor.

We have a pretty large living room/kitchen that is an extremely large open room at about 20x20ft. There are plenty of obstacles this little guy had to go through in just those two rooms. I was tremendously impressed how the Mint took its time when first exploring the room to size it up perfectly. When it was first mapping the area it would bump into things and then it would note that object and never again bump into the same object. It was quite fun to watch as it zoomed around the room. It even fit into the tighter spaces under the couch and around the tables.

The system is guided by the NorthStar Navigation System; It cleans large areas by moving back and forth in mostly straight lines. It will even clean around most baseboards and edges which was one of the surprising things about the Evolution Robotics Mint Automatic Hard Floor Cleaner. It will fully map your house as it goes marking all the necessary obstacles. It then does one final edge cleaning and then returns to the charger to recharge so you know right where to find it.

It cleans by using the wet.dry model of cloths that are easy to clean and reusable. The cloths are made of small microfiber that are safe for all types of floors. So, when the Evolution Robotics Mint Automatic Hard Floor Cleaner is done cleaning you simply either throw the disposable cloth away or clean the reusable ones. With the built in dual sweep and mop functionality it actually does an admirable job of maintaining your hard floors all throughout the house. If, you have heavier soil, the Evolution Robotics Mint Automatic Hard Floor Cleaner will not pick it up you will need to use a little elbow grease. All it takes to switch modes is a fresh cleaning cloth and a press of a button.

Features:

1. Automatic room or multiple room mapping

2. Dual sweep/mop modes

3. North star Navigation Cube

4. 2 dry sweeping microfiber cloths

5. 1 Year full manufactures Warranty
