GoBites is a food subscription service that offers portable and healthy snacks. Each individual snacks comes in a plastic container and is between 1 to 2 oz. The snacks contain a variety of health ingredients including nuts, seeds, dried fruit and even dark chocolate. The snacks contain between 100-250 calories each.

Each shipment has a total of 14 different snacks. You get to go on the website and choose exactly which snacks you want in your box, so there will be no surprises. Shipping is free, though the entire box of snacks is around $30, making them $2. Though it might seem expensive, they make a good on-the-go meal when you are out. It is a great alternative to energy bars, or worse, fast food.

You can pick how often you get a box. It can be anywhere from once per week to once per month. If you want to go on a healthy diet and incorporate this product into it, getting a once per week shipment would be perfect. If you simply just want to snack healthy, once per month would be suitable.

I was excited to see a service like this. I eat a lot of nutrition bars, but I don't honestly feel those are really all that good for me. They also get really boring and aren't particuarlly filling. I assumed I could replace some of those bars with these snacks.

I ordered on a Wednesday and I got my shipment on a Saturday. They ship USPS priority mail. It does have a delivery confirmation number, but customer service does not email this to you. That is the only bad point about this service; if they mailed out the number it would be perfect.

Some people might think these are small snack, but they aren't. True, they are only 1-2oz in size, but they consist of hearty blends of nuts and seeds, which are filling. I just ate the Umami Church, about an hour ago, and I still feel full from it. This is a snack that is 170 calories, so this is pretty awesome to still feel satisfied for so long after eating.

I am very tempted to up my shipments to once per week. These are delicious, easy to eat and take the guesswork out of healthy snacking. Hopefully they'll help me lose weight, too!
