How to Grow Alfalfa Sprouts
An easy way to grow your own healthy food is to start sprouting seeds. Seed sprouting produces healthy greens within a few days, and requires very little space or equipment. Alfalfa sprouts are one of the many kinds of plants you can sprout and eat. They provide a high amount of fiber, vitamin A, B, E and K. They are also a good source of protein, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, carotene and chlorophyll.

Add 2 tablespoons of alfalfa sprouting seeds to your sprouting jar. Make sure the lid has a fine mesh screen that won't allow the seeds to escape from the jar.
