Ideas to Organize and Decorate Kids Rooms

Great ideas

this is a collection of great ideas I have come across for decorating and organizing your child's room. Baby, boys and girls are included. I hope you are inspired and enjoy reading this.

Dresser.... Put it in the closet to make more room if your child's room is small.

Build small ledges on the outside sides of a dresser to store toys and books

Attach hooks on the side of a dresser to hang items on.

Bed... Trundle beds are ideal for sleep overs and guest quarters in a child's room

Loft beds with desks or play areas under are great for small rooms creating more space for other things in the room.

Bunk beds for children that are sharing a room.

Captains bed has the drawers built in to the frame under the bed, another great space saver.

Hanging bed, using the ceiling studs you can actual l hang the bed by ropes or chains.

Play Areas... Fold down desk. attaching a desk surface to the wall with hinges allowing the desk to be folded up when not in use.

Dress-up, adding a door mirror, trunk of dress up clothes and accessories and dressing bench to a corner of a girls room can add hours of play.

Fold up train set for a boy's room. Similar to the fold up desk. Attach the track and accessories to a board that is hinged to the wall and can be folded up when not in use.

Rice or Bean table. This idea is ideal for a purchased water table. Fill it with rice or dry beans and add cups, sandbox toys and other toys. Its nontoxic and easier to clean up then sand in the house.

Great ideas for organizing a child's room. I like the idea of puttng the dresser in a closet. This will give the child more space to play in. Thanks for sharing.

Nice ideas. I actually want to get a train set for my boys room. I like the idea of a fold-up version. Thanks for sharing.
