Infrared Heaters

Infrared Heaters transfer radiant heat to the surroundings without being in physical contact with objects around. They can be used for domestic, outdoor, and commercial purposes. Infrared heaters use electro-magnetic radiation to exchange heat between its body and a body with lower temperature.  Infrared heaters make use of heated filaments to generate continuous emission of radiant heat , a glass tube is used in protecting such filaments. This glass tube is heat-resistant and it is filled with inert gases{especially halogen},electrical infrared heaters make use of tungsten wires which is continuously heated to generate emissions.

Most industrial infrared heaters use gold coating on the quartz tube that reflects the infrared radiation and directs it towards the product or materials to be heated. Such industrial infrared heaters use Gold coating because they have high infrared reflectivity and they are oxidation resistant materials. They also double the reflectivity of the infrared rays on the objects they come in contact with.

Infrared heaters are often classified according to the wavelengths of emissions they give. Short-wave infrared heaters operate at high filament temperatures above 1800 °C and medium wavelength infrared heaters emit at temperatures of around 1000 degrees. High wavelength infrared operates at temperatures higher than this.

Infrared Heaters

Infrared patio heaters are often wall mounted infrared heaters. They are made up of outer stainless steel materials which provide continuous heat for outdoor surroundings and are most suitable for locations including balconies, terraces, gazebos, garages and warehouses. They sometime come in heavy duty black steel wall mounted materials or free standing halogens.  Infrared patio heaters are also available on the street for night travelers and such patio heaters emit 15 watts of power-they are heavy duty electric poles mounted on road sides.

Infrared sauna heaters are electrically powered sauna heaters which are designed to direct heat towards the body.  It quickly and steady heat up saunas and make it comfortable for users. They use lower temperature heating mechanisms and ceramic emitters, concave or ceramic heating elements.  Some of the numerous health benefits of infrared sauna heaters are that they give 2 to 3 times the amount of sweating possible in conventional saunas.  Portable home saunas are available and they are good in circulating and renewing the body’s energy as well as detoxifying the body.

Tube infrared heaters are gas infrared heaters which are high and low intensity radiant heaters for commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential heating applications. They can use to heat large areas of outdoor and indoor environments. They make use of inert gases for their operations.
