Painting a girls bedroom purple and pink Tinkerbell colors
After painting the oldest kids' room we kept on moving with the middle girls room. We knew what she wanted (Tinker Bell everything) but I didn't want to put that on the walls just in case she grows out of it so we did a little comprimise and combined it. This way it can be whatever she wants it to be and the colors will go with just about anything! We started by taping off all the walls, windows and doors. We measured down from the ceiling all the way around and taped where we wanted the two colors to come together.
The flair in Sissy's room is a tinker bell fairy dust stensel. It has had many purposes in my house but I think this one turned out to be my favorite. It took a lot of time to get it all done and then I added jewels in the star bursts to make them stand out a little more and give the room a little more girly touch. The jewels are all different sizes and colors. Without the jewels it just looked like it was missing a little something. I really enjoyed doing this room and am looking forward to getting the boy's room done next!
