People of advanced nations or high-income group anywhere in the world enjoy smartphones especially Apple ios. A sizable population even in the third world are using mobile phones nowadays. This article will help them knowing their mobile handsets better and extract best from the instrument. There are many wonderful applications and unknown uses of mobile phones described here. These are very useful information, extremely necessary for everyone keeping and using mobile phones.

First of all, know about manufacturing quality of your mobile handsets (instruments).

Would you like to know if your mobile instrument is original or not? If yes, follow this step by step process. Please press the keys *#06# on your mobile to get the-international mobile equipment identity number (IMEI Number) appeared on your handset. Now check the seventh and eighth digits.

IF the Seventh and Eighth digits are 00, your cell phone has been manufactured in the original factory, that is the best Quality Mobile phone instrument.

IF the Seventh and Eighth digits are 01 or 10, your cell phone was manufactured in Finland and probably is of very Good quality.

IF the Seventh and Eighth digits are 08 or 80, your cell phone was manufactured in Germany that is likely to be of fair quality.

IF the seventh and eighth digits are 02 or 20, the cell phone was assembled in Emirates. Normally this is an indication of very Bad quality.

IF the Seventh and Eighth digits are 13, the cell phone was assembled in Azerbaijan. This not only indicates to very Bad quality but to be unhealthy. It is advisable to be careful.

(Alert: Breaking News IMEI number:

Central Government of India has notified that mobile handsets without IMEI number will not work from December 1, 2009. Please check your EMIE number and confirm your connectivity.)

New things you can do with your mobile phones

Know what else your Cell Phone can do

Few things you can do in times of grave emergencies:

Your mobile phone can save your life as an emergency tool for survival. Knowing these are easy but neglecting may cost even with life. Check out some that you can do with it:

Some good reasons to keep a cell phone:

EMERGENCY

The worldwide Emergency Number for **Mobile** is 112. If there is an emergency and you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you. Interestingly you can also dial this number 112 with the locked keypad

What can you do with your mobile device

What if you locked your keys in the car?

Your Mobile phone may be proved very useful someday. If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at your home or office, call someone at your home or office on their cell phone from your cell phone.

Tell the person there to press the unlock button of the car key, holding it near his / her mobile phone at his / her end. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and your car door will open.

Distance does not matter. You can do it from anywhere. If you can reach someone who has the other 'remote' for your car, you can unlock your car. It saves someone from driving your keys to you.

Your mobile phone can save your time and money this way and also from harassment.

Hidden Battery power

Some times your cell battery goes very low and you don't have a charger. You may be expecting an important call or want to call some one urgently. You are lucky if you have a Nokia instrument. Nokia instruments have a reserve battery.

Press the keys *3370# to activate reserve battery. Your mobile phone instrument will restart with the reserve battery and the instrument will show a fifty percent increase in battery power. You can recharge the reserve power when you charge your cell phone next time.

You can disable a stolen mobile phone:

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, press the * # 0 6 # keys of your cell phone (as suggested earlier).

The unique fifteen digit code of your handset will appear on the screen. Please do not forget to write it down and keep it safe somewhere in your diary or on your computer. If unfortunately your phone gets stolen, you can call your service provider and provide them with this fifteen digit code. It will enable your service provider to block your handset. Even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will not work. It will be totally useless.

You may not get your phone back but the thief can not use or sell it. If everybody follows this tip, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones. Now, why to wait? Use this application in your cell phone and enjoy.

Do you know your mobile phone and instrument?

Update: Smart phone applications

Its long time since I have written this article about wonderful applications of mobile phones. Communication technology has crossed a long way within this period. Smartphones have replaced most of the older phones. We have come to the age of iPhone 6 and 4G internet services.

Samsung and few other brands adopted Android and large numbers of Android applications are available in the market. Few of them are paid but most are available free in Google play. People are using hundreds of thousands of Android mobile applications in their smart devices.

Apple also provides large numbers of IOS applications for downloading in iPhones. However, these are much lesser than that of Android. I have added few videos that may be useful for you to learn your mobile phones better. Please view these videos and enjoy.
