Product Review On The Whirlpool Electric Dryer
What Can I Say Whirlpool Rules
I am really pleased with my Whirlpool Electric Dryer. It works like a charm, and has many setting options which I will give many details on it. I also bought the matching Whirlpool Washer, and I will include the link to that review as well.
The Whirlpool Electric Dryer ( Model No. WFD4800XQ1 ). 29" Wide Model.
Product Information:
Control Panel & Features:
*** Dryer Cycle Knob, you will use this to choose the available cycles on the dryer. Just turn the knob and select the cycle for the laundry load.
*** Timed Dry. This cycle will run the dryer for a specified time, which you can choose how many minutes you want to dry the clothes for.
*** Temperature / Fabric. You will choose a temperature based on the type a fabric in your load. There is Low ( knits ), Medium ( casual ), High ( heavy ).
*** Wrinkle Shield. This is a great feature and I love it! When you can't get to remove a load of laundry from the dryer as soon as it's done, this is when wrinkles can happen. The Wrinkle Shield feature will periodically tumble, rearrange and fluff the laundry, and helps to keep wrinkles from forming.
*** End Of Cycle Signal / Push To Start. When the dryer cycle is done, there will be a really load buzz sound. You can choose to turn this feature off if you don't want to hear it. Quick note, when the wrinkle shield setting is chosen, and the end of cycle signal is on, then the tone will sound every 5 minutes until you take the clothes of of the dryer.
*** Lighted Dryer Drum. There is a light right inside the dryer, how cool is that, and it is really bright as well.
Here are a few common sense warnings to Keep in mind when using the Whirlpool Dryer.
*** Always clean the lint screen out after each load of laundry. Don't rinse or wash the screen off to remove the lint. You can however actually clean it about every 6 months, as there will be a buildup of fabric softener sheets. You can use a nylon brush and liquid detergent, you must dry it really well before putting it back into the slot. Don't put it back in damp.
*** Explosion Hazards. Keep all flammable materials and vapors away from the dryer. Don't dry anything that has ever had anything to do with flammable products, ( Even After Washing ).
*** Fire Hazards. No washing machine can completely remove all oil, so don't dry anything that has had any type of oil on it. Also items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried out on the clothesline.
*** Loading The Dryer. Never overload the dryer, the clothes need room to tumble freely. Also never ever leave the dryer door open, because children or pets could become trapped inside if the door should become closed.
*** Cleaning The Dryer Interior. To clean inside the dryer drum, just apply a nonflammable liquid household cleaner using a clean soft cloth.
Also keep in mind you will need the proper outlet for the dryer plug, and of course a dryer vent.
