"Stuff" Going Forward

Moving three times is as good as a fire! But only if you don't take everything with you!

What is the "Stuff" in your life going forward?

It is the end of another month, and tomorrow begins a new one.

I already know a few things which are expected to happen in the new one, and I am finishing up this one and tying it up with the color of ribbon it deserves (sometimes blue, other times red or yellow, seldom if ever black.)

I find that in each new month I have dragged along some baggage, baggage which is best described as “Stuff”. The “Stuff” can even be dragged along not only from this month which is ending, but from many months ago.

The best thing I can do to prepare for the new month is simply to deal with as much of that “Stuff” as I can right now, so that the ideal of a “clean slate” can be just that in the brand new month ahead. It can seem “impossible” but it is worth the effort of organizing the valuable, getting rid of the clutter, and simplifying life as much as I can.

Do you have some “Stuff” going forward, too?

b. Malin: I have jokingly advised that the solution to a cluttered desk is to buy another desk. I hadn't thought of moving out and leaving it all "as is"! What a great idea!

I have to be in just the right mood to sort through my junk, but it's always a relief when I do. Great hub!

Angela Brummer: Out to the garden, in to the clutter, out to the weeds, in to the bills, out to the watering, in to the.... Does it never cease? Victoria Lynne wrote a poem about Does It Always End; so I guess it always does, but right now you could fool me!
