Our Gentleman's Sweeper

When you need a little helping hand.

I don't remember when I first heard of a "Gentleman's Sweeper," but I know that he's been in my family for many years. It may have been my grandmother who first introduced us. He came around long before the electric run vacuum or battery operated hand held vacuums that are so popular nowadays. So I'm thinking that I have to give credit to my grandmother for this one.

When small messes pop up around my house, either my husband or myself always go get the Gentleman's Sweeper. He is ever ready, standing at attention, sitting in the same spot, year after year.

The Gentleman's Sweeper is especially appreciated when the spiders are busy leaving their webs all over the house. Every week I go hunting... for all those annoying spider webs. He helps me get rid of them every time!

It's so much easier to grab The Gentleman's Sweeper than to pull out the heavy vacuum and search for an outlet to plug the thing in, when The Gentleman's Sweeper is always ready, and so light weight to carry. He is great for small jobs that need a quick clean up.

A smile always comes to my face when my cleaning woman has "The Gentleman's Sweeper" in hand and she's dancing around the house with him in her arms. I've heard her more than once let me know that she's off to fetch... "The Gentleman's Sweeper."

Until we meet again... Francesca27

I had a "Gentleman's Sweeper" years ago. It may be in the garage somewhere. You are correct; it was so much easier than pulling out the vacuum. Time to search for my "man"!
