The Legend Of Zelda Room Decor

The Legend Of Zelda is an action adventure fantasy game that was created in the early 1990's and later released by Nintendo. Ever since its creation this fun and exciting game has proved to be an extremely popular game with boys and to this day that popularity continues. Both of my kids already own several of the games and have really enjoyed playing them over the years.

To date there have been 19 different Legend of Zelda games released and the franchise shows no signs of slowing down in the near future. The storyline centers around Link who is the main character in the game going on a mission to rescue the princess Zelda who has been kidnapped by the evil Ganon.

In spite of its popularity finding The Legend Of Zelda room decor can be somewhat of a challenge. But with a little imagination its still possible to design your own themed bedroom featuring Link.

Ideas To Get You Started

For an authentic looking room you're going to want to find a green bedspread or comforter along with either green or gold curtains.

Don't forget to add some throw pillows featuring Link to your bed, the nice thing about throw pillows is that you can never have too many. Plus it's an easy and low cost way to add to the overall theme of your room.

Next the walls should be painted green. But if that's just too much green for you. An off white would with green trim around the windows would look nice. Also a natural looking wood or laminate floor looks best with this type of decor.

Paint A Wall Mural

This is one area where you can let your imagination run wild. If you're a talented artist or happen to know one you can paint a wall mural like the beautiful mural of Link and Epona pictured above. This along with a painting of the Triforce would make an awesome looking room. Otherwise if painting just isn't your thing, you can find a large selection of posters and wall art available on both ebay and amazon.

More Wall Decorations

Any of the swords and shields pictured below would look wonderful displayed on the walls of your Zelda themed room. Unless stated otherwise the swords and shields are probably not intended for play, but as a wall decoration.

Tips

Even though there is no actual licensed bedding from Nintendo featuring Link, if you're handy you could always design your own, or perhaps even order it from someone on ebay who does custom bedding.
