The Little Yellow Bird. Part 16. Going Home After The Honeymoon

The Little Yellow Bird. Part 16. Going Home After The Honeymoon

Friday, January 21, 2011

I am sick of sex. Sex is a nasty disgusting act. That boy of mine wore me out on our honeymoon. I felt like a split chicken the way I got it in every position he could think of. I want no part of him for a long time.

When I look at him I want to slap his ugly face. I did not say a word while he drove home. He asked me why was I so quiet. I asked him when would he be joining the Navy. The sooner he ships out the better.

He asked me where were we going to live. I told him to bring me home to my mama and daddy's house until he fills the Folgers coffee can with twigs and tender leaves because I want a soft bed.

He told me he was sorry he ever got married. I started to cry, but then he hugged me to make me feel better, but his hand began to wander so I popped his mouth.

He told me he was bringing me home to my parents for a while. When he drove up to my parents yard in our pick up truck I saw the porch lights come on. Mom and dad came on their porch to see what we wanted.

Mom said, " Are you two having your first fight?" I said, " No mom, but he has to work on furnishing the coffee can with twigs and straw."

Mom said, " Look here young lady, your a married bird now. You have to work together and get use to the idea of getting things done,"

I said " All right mama, in the morning we will go and work on the coffee can together.'

My husband and I went into my bedroom and we went to bed. I told him to keep his stinking hands off of me for tonight because we have to get up early to get some work done on the coffee can.

I sure as heck do not want my mom and dad to hear any goings on in my bedroom in their house. After all, we are supposed to be civilized.

In the morning I woke up, from having a restless night. He moves around in the bed too much , and can not keep his hands to himself.

We had breakfast with my mom and dad. I cooked some scrambled eggs while mom made coffee for the men. My husband and my daddy went to the living room while mom and I worked on finishing up breakfast for us all to eat.

Dad asked if everything was going on right between us. My husband told him that everything seemed to be working out, and I am glad nothing more was discussed about the situation.

We all ate breakfast. I asked my husband to please pass the strawberry jam because I like a little touch of sweetness under my syrup on my pan cakes.

My husband passed the pork sausage to my daddy because dad likes a piece of pork with his scrambled eggs.

I passed the sugar to my mama and she put two teaspoons of sugar into her instant coffee.

We had a nice delicious breakfast , and then my husband and I flew to the house trailer to work on our coffee can.

God Bless Everyone.

My five year old granddaughter loves the photos of your cats and your art. She also likes the pictures of Becky and wants to know if Becky would like to have one of her stuffed animals or babies. I told her Becky is 35 but she told me I play with her toys with her so maybe Becky is not too old. ha ha She also said if you have nine cats now, could you please take pictures of the other ones too so she can see them? I told her you are very busy taking good care of your family and doing your art and writing and she said, "It doesn't ever hurt to ask, right Granma?" So I told her I would ask about both things.

Dear Healing Touch : You are very sweet. I drew the pictures with a lot of love in my heart for God, and for Saint Mary. God was always with me in my darkest hours and most trying times. I learned that God could do anything. I drew the pictures simply to honor God. I was very sick, and drawing was something I could easily do. It just takes practice and a lot of mistakes. God Bless You Dear Heart. Thank you for visiting.

Dear Poohgranma : Your Grand daughter is very sweet. Tell her that she is very thoughtful and that Becky probably has just as many stuffed animals as she has, if not more so tell her to keep her wonderful little toys. I will see about finding some of the older pictures I have of our older cats that may be on files. And if I find some more drawings that are good enough to put on the screen I will display them. Thank You and God Bless You And Your Precious Family.
