Viva La Viva

Updated on December 25, 2010

Viva to the Rescue.

Viva absorbs like no other.

i have used a lot of paper towels, and you have to know that I am a paper towel junkie, but I have not seen any paper towel that rivals the absorbing power of Viva paper towels. Viva paper towels come in what appears to be a relatively smaller roll, but I have come to discover that it is made that way for a reason. All you really need to clean up a spill is one sheet of Viva, and the roll ends up lasting for quite a while.

Before I started buying Viva paper towels, I used to buy other brands of paper towels, and I found that I was using one roll for one or two days, and the habit was getting quite expensive. Now, I am happier cooking and cleaning, and I am doing fewer store runs for paper towels.

Viva paper towels are not only useful for cleaning spills, they are also very useful for drying dishes, doing household and car cleaning, and also for cleaning things like eye glasses and furniture.

In researching Viva paper towels, it was interesting to learn that ''Versatile paper towels have been a favorite household item in American homes for almost 80 years. Way back in 1931, Arthur Scott invented paper towels when he was faced with the problem of what to do with a load of toilet paper that that been rejected by a customer. He had the bright idea of cutting up the toilet paper into small sheets and selling them as a new, disposable cleaning product; paper towels. Scott followed this up by introducing the first paper towels specifically made for use in the kitchen''.

''The Scott Paper Company went on to become one of the largest producers of paper towels and tissue in the world. Viva paper towels are the brand name that Scott introduced to and made very popular with the American public. In 1995 Kimberly-Clark purchased the Scott Paper Company and in the process became the new owners of Viva paper towels''.

I am so impressed with the absorbing and cleaning power of Viva paper towels that I have become an unauthorized disciple of sorts for the maker. I am more invesed in cleaning my home and car because I now have this product that maximizes results while reducing waste. You can say that I am a fan, and you will be one too if you give it a try.

Viva Kimberly Clark.
