What do you do when it is dark and gloomy outside (or when there is bad weather)?

Do you stay indoors and mope? Do you stay indoors and make tea/coffee/hot chocolate and curl up with a good book? Do you go play outside anyways?

Either take a bubble bath by candle light, read a book, or watch a good movie.

Personally, I love weather like that. I like to sit outside (as in my porch) and read a book or listen to music. Weather like that also makes me want to sit and think... you know, reflect and whatnot.

I love to sleep in longer on rainy days. Something about the rain makes you want to cuddle up and relax.

I either write, paint, watch a good movie or snuggle in front of the fire with a good book. I actually welcome those kinds of days once in a while smile

I love bad weather and usually dress for it and go out into it.
When I lived by the beach I would always go down to see the huge waves and feel the energy. I have to admit that it drove my ex crazy sometimes but she didn't have to go.
The one day that stands out most in my mind actually wasn't too bad as far as wind and such but we had 90' waves (no that is not a typo). They shook the ground so hard!
I went down to the bluff overlooking the beach and it was astounding.
Unfortunately it was also very destructive but the next day I drug the ex down to what was left of the pier and out to the furthest restaurant that survived.
The waves started building again while we ate lunch and you could feel the place rising and falling a bit. About 2 hours after we left the entire pier collapsed.
I was in Sanya when they claimed that the biggest typhoon in decades was coming. It was such a let down when nothing happened. However I am thinking about moving to the Philippines next year.
    Good times

Thee is often a L O T of lightning outside when it is dark and gloomy outside where I live...I can do without the lightning but the sound of the rain is very soothing...I often will do some 'things' I have been putting off because it was too lovely to inside doing them. Sometimes, however, I am soothed so much I retreat into some novel I have left neglected on a shelf.

When it is dark & gloomy outside, I tend to sleep.  That type of weather is quite conducive to inducing a sound sleep.  I also love to be curled up in bed, watching a good horror movies.  There is nothing like dark & gloomy weather to get my horror persona on.
