I love Camellias too! If you are looking for a tree that is pretty for three seasons, see if serviceberries grow where you live. In the spring they have pretty white flowers. In summer they fruit in reddish berries that are beautiful and sort of taste like blueberries. We have made pies, preserves, muffins, and even wine from our serviceberries when the birds and squirrels leave us some. Even delicious dried like raisins. In autumn, the leaves turn golden to deep red depending on soil and weather conditions. It just gives and gives until it dies in the winter, only to be reborn. Great tree to plant!
