you know...old people in my country using the planed coconut after they taking the milk out, they use the rest to clean the floor...
the result..the floor looks shiny..clean and it's natural product.
too bad..this way now already so rare maybe even gone ...
coz many simple chemical home cleaning products sell in supermarket.

Personally, I'm partial to Shaklee...the cleaning products they have are made primarily from corn and coconut surfactants, they are very effective with almost no smell, they come out cheaper than what you buy in stores (sold super-concentrated) and don't even irritate my extremely sensitive skin and lungs. I can't use store-bought cleaners without rashes, sore throat, etc.

There is a line of all-natural cleaning products called CleanWell.  I've used their soaps and hand-sanitizers, which are good, and I would assume (but unfortunately cannot tell you from first-hand experience) that they are also great for home cleaning.  In any case, these are "green" products:

Personally, I think old fashioned white vinegar is a very efficient cleaner and deodorizer.

I buy a gallon jug for about $2.50 and add about six cinnamon sticks to it and let it sit for a couple of weeks.  I then pour it into a spray bottle about a third of the way up and then fill the rest with tap water.  Add about 2 Tablespoons of dis detergent and you've got a pleasant smelling cleaner that costs pennies to make, is environmentally friendly and works great!

If you're not partial to cinnamon, you can add orange or lemon slices, mint or your choice of essential oils for fragrance.

Diluted vinegar works better for cleaning surfaces than any commercial cleaning product.

I am often using a mixture of white vinegar and water to help with bothersome oders around the house and it is great for windows and mirros as well.
I believe in the "steam" technology and have a couple of Shark steamers that get a big workout at my jobs. My clients always tell me that their house had never "felt" and "smelled" like clean, which basically is no smell at all.
Baking soda, a very light dusting on carpets and rugs to let sit for a while then vacummed up realy helps as well.
Citrus fruit peels make great sink cleaners and make the disposal smell like heaven!
I also use a floor cleaner called "get floored" (too cute Iknow), which is all natural based and smells amazing. I use this when a scent is really desired or wanted from a client.
