Is olive margarine a good substitute for butter for making cookies?


I like the crumbly texture and creamy rich taste that you would get from baking with butter but am looking for a non-dairy alternative. Substituting with oils and vegetable shortening seems to result in heavy "cake"-like cookies which I don't like so much. Taste-wise also not as yummy as butter made cookies.
