Froggies - Frog Wall Art Pictures

Using frog art is a beautiful way to decorate walls and rooms with wonderful frog paintings. You can choose from contemporary prints with a modern twist, to whimsical reproductions that add a touch of fun and cheer.

Frog wall decor is a great way to express your love of the pond dwelling amphibians, as well as adding to a theme you may have, or a collection you may wish to enhance.

Equally, frog pictures look good placed within nursery's and children's bedrooms - the Frog Prince is an adorable story and one that most young children have had read to them.

Amazon possesses a broad selection for you to choose from and whether you wish to purchase for yourself or as a gift for an amphibian loving friend or loved one, you'll find that you're spoiled for choice.

Frog Art

An example of frog art would be a poster or reprint of a painting - whether it be in oils or some other medium.

Some may be reproductions of photographs, rendered into a print version, or something along the lines of fine art or hand drawn originals.

There is a wide variety available, some being quite abstract on first glance. Others are recognizable from stories such as the Tales Of Jeremy Fisher, by Beatrix Potter.

Many would be perfectly suited to a nursery or child's bedroom, whilst others would look more at home placed within a lounge area or den.

A big favorite are tree frog prints, posters and paintings. There appears to be a general fascination with this particular species and there are a good few to choose from.

Generally frog decor is on the rise and injecting such art work in and around your home will show off your appreciation for all things amphibian.

Frog Paintings

There are some wonderful frog paintings, many of which are original art works and of the highest quality, with price tags to suit.

From the art world's perspective, wall art should be chosen as a means of reflecting your character, the person you are.

Or chosen because it perfectly suits the ambiance of the room that it's intended to grace.

An example would be to purchase a set of Beatrix Potter framed reproductions, which are then placed within a child's bedroom.

High end wall art should inspire and promote creativity and possess a pleasing aesthetic quality about it.

This relates to true frog art and other decorative paintings that are in their original form, or that have been reproduced as a means of becoming an important aspect of a specific room.

Generally, they're not an impulse buy - and nor should they be. A $30 poster that you frame yourself is one thing ... a $250 original is quite something else.

If you're buying an original painting or a series of framed pictures, be sure to acknowledge it's quality and the principle that surrounds its creation.

Original frog paintings and framed reprints can and do enhance a room and should go on to become an enjoyable piece of art for years to come.

Frog Wall Decor

If you prefer frog wall decor to a standard reprint or an original painting, you'll find that there's a wide variety of wall decorations to choose from.

Many are created for children's rooms and nursery's, bathrooms and play rooms. They generally have a fresh, fun appeal and will engage and delight a child.

If they don't meet with your child's approval - because your child is a little on the young side - then at least you will.

There's a fair selection of murals and wall borders, as well as an assortment of frog wall stickers and decals.

If you have a young child, or your intended purchase is for a young one, why not allow them to be your interior design assistant/quality control manager?

Children love to interact and if you're about to place some frog wall art in their room, make the placing of their new decals or stickers a fun exercise.

If in the event that their direction doesn't look quite as good as you'd have liked, simply wait until their fast asleep and do a little hasty reshuffling!

Frog Art Pictures

Most of the frog art pictures are framed, removing the need for you to hotfoot it down to a picture framers post purchase.

Though they're more expensive, you simply unpack them and hang them in a place of your choosing.

Once again, many are more suited to children's nursery's, bedrooms and/or bathrooms but there's also a good selection for the older frog art collector.

If you've already done the research on such wall decoration, you'll realise that when you pay more, you get more.

The pictures aimed at children are safe and free from lead and other toxic materials. The quality of the reprints is top notch.

The frames, such as the one on the Jeremy Fisher picture, are of the highest grade wood - in this particular case, grade A hardwood.

Most if not all of the glass used is tempered and any frog art printed onto lithograph paper is acid free.

The above does reflect the price you'll pay at the checkout but at least you know you're purchasing high quality products.

Hi, fd - that frog art print at the beginning of your hub is amazing - couldn't take my eyes off it. Enjoyed reading this froggy collection.

To start your day, here's your frog funny for Friday.

Frogs enjoy the good life. They can eat whatever bugs them.

We have a program called Collectors on Australian TV and I there was one collector who had over 2,000 frogs. Pictures, figurines, soft toys, you name it! Looking at the pictures on your Hub reminded me of it. He said there's something about frogs that just makes you smile, and he's right!
