I Love My Hamilton Beach Personal Blender!
I love smoothies and enjoy one almost every day. Before I bought my Hamilton Beach personal blender, however I didn't have one everyday like I do now.
Faced with pulling out my big, bulky blender just to make one smoothie for myself seemed like too much trouble, especially when I thought about cleaning up after.
After careful research I ordered the Hamilton Beach personal blender featured here. I've had it for about a year and half and have never regretted my choice.
The first feature I like about it is it's simplicity. The "jar" is one piece and locks onto the motor with one easy click. There are only three total pieces to the unit; the motor, the jar and the lid. Only three things to clean when you are done!
The second feature I like is for such a small, simple blender it serves up awesome smoothies! It grinds ice up completely as well as any type of fruit I choose for the day. I never have little bits and pieces of anything in my smoothie. It's relatively quiet, I mean after all, it is a blender, and there is bound to be some noise, right?
The third feature I like is the fact that I can take the jar and go. Often in the morning I am pressed for time and too often making my smoothie is the last thing I do before leaving for work. Once it's blended, I just pull it off the motor and off I go. The lid stays on nice and snug and has a little drinking spout that opens and closes so there is no spillage.
The final feature is the price. This little guy is an awesome value at well under $20. Considering he's been serving me smoothies for a year and a half that is money very well spent, don't you agree?
Here is a recipe for one of my favorite smoothies. The fun thing about smoothies is there really isn't a wrong way to make one. You can mix it up, try tons of different variations and create just the right flavor to suit your taste buds.
I change mine up all the time, but this particular one is probably my favorite. I think the combination of the banana and pineapple gives it a tropical flavor and the yogurt makes it super creamy. You can also use a little milk with it for a really creamy texture! See, the variations are unlimited!
I hope you try it and like it as much as I do!
