Masculine Duvet Covers For Men
Duvet Covers & Comforter Sets For Manly Men!
It's a perfectly understandable thing... Guys would prefer masculine duvet covers for MEN probably a little more than, say, roses and smiley faces on their bedding. (Ok, even I might hesitate on the smiley faces comforter!) :)
My husband pretty much lets me choose the bedding for our room, but if he was on his own, he'd prefer something a little more... well, "manly." He prefers geometric and linear designs. Muted colors. Stuff like that. For example, check out this gorgeous green plaid comforter set in this photo (you can purchase it below). Even I would love this! And I already know that John would too.
So with that in mind, I think we may have found the perfect duvet covers for you or the men in your life!

Contemporary Duvet Covers for Men - Masculine Duvet Covers, but with STYLE
As I was mentioning above, my husband really likes geometric lines and more "quiet" colors. Nothing that screams too "Cool" or "Funky" - because he's just not really that kind of guy. Subdued might be the word, but he also has a sense of style and knows what he likes. So, with that in mind, I chose some nice plaids, stripes, and really nice looking solids. It seems to me that these are more contemporary duvet covers as a result. Let's have a look!
I find this particular pattern to be "geometric," but not to the point of "mesmerizing" (in other words, it doesn't make me dizzy!)
Ordinarily, I'm not really one for gold-tones, but this one struck my eye as an exception to the rule. There is something kind of subtle that I really like, and can see this in a room with black furniture as a kind of an accent.
Premier Comfort Suttherland Plaid Down Alternative Microfiber 3 Piece Comforter Set - This is the stunning men's bedding set featured in our introduction.
What man wouldn't want this gorgeous, comfortable, yet "outdoorsy" looking comforter? I cannot think of one single guy - whether he is metropolitan or casual outdoors who wouldn't be comfortable using this. This is a microfiber, or "down alternative" comforter, which also comes with the matching pillow shams for a lovely, coordinated look. By the way, I would love this one for myself as well. Win-win!
Note: as of 5/30/14, this was in stock! Love, love, LOVE this one!
This particular set is easy on the budget, and is available in 3 sizes - King, Queen, or Twin - so it's perfect for any situation, including a dorm room!
Duvet Covers for YOUNG Men - Think: Teenagers, College Dorm Rooms, and Young Bachelors!
When we begin to consider duvet covers for young men, we're not really thinking about little kids. Teenage and college aged young men are in a little different place. They don't want to look dorky, but they don't want to call TOO much attention to their stuff. They almost certainly don't want their bedding sets to scream out, "Look what MY mom got me!" They want style, cool, and easy to clean (translate: something they can throw in the washer, or at least have Mom throw in the washer). Let's see what we've got. I went with a number of twin sizes since that's primarily the case with college dorms and roommate situations.
I smiled when I saw this one described as "preppy." I think that's a pretty good description! If you want to take a closer look at this, use the "zoom" tool - you'll get a better view of the pattern that way.
I have to confess that at first I wasn't really fond of microfiber, but I've come to like it! I just got a navy blue microfiber twin sheet set, and I like it a lot. And, in the reviews, people are saying that it looks a lot nicer in person than the picture shows. Timeless color and a crowd pleaser.
HILARIOUS! Watch this Gal Try to Put Her Duvet Back in its Cover-with the help of her Cats! - A little levity... The REAL demonstration video is below...
Folks, I just HAD to add this video! I love watching kitties get into the middle of things! I hope you get a giggle out of it like I did.
Good luck making the bed with these kitties in the way!
Microfiber Duvet Covers (Microsuede Duvet Covers) - VERY popular, and ULTRA comfortable!
There is something about these microfiber duvet covers (some people are calling them microsuede duvet covers, or micro suede) that just says, "PICK ME! PICK ME! I'M COMFORTABLE!" They typically come in a variety of colors and some nice patterns that are perfect for men (and boys) of all ages. You really cannot go wrong with one of these - they are incredibly popular, and also quite lightweight. These microfiber duvet covers are also affordable, as you can see. You get that warm and soft feel for a lot less money than you might have thought.
This grey/black combo gets VERY high marks from previous buyers. And the price is right. Get the looks without breaking the bank! Oh - it does come in different shades. They have a brown tone in this particular style that also looks really good.
This one is getting high marks all around. I don't even think you could beat the price at a discount department store either - and I look for sets at a number of discount stores where I live (Christmas Tree Shoppes, TJ Maxx and Ocean State Job Lot - so I've done some comparison shopping). Good one!
Ok... I just HAD to add this one! Does this get any better for the hunter or outdoorsman in your house? I didn't think so! Love this!
Ruby Kilim Rustic Designer Red Black Cotton Duvet Cover
I have to tell you... This incredible duvet cover took my breath away when I saw it. The quality is just incredible. I wish I could put all the photos of this stunning - yet still masculine duvet cover in this description.
If you ever felt the need to take your eyes off the intricate geometric design and deep reds on this cover, it is reversable, showing a "coordinating print" as well. It honestly shows and wears more like a piece of art than a piece of bedding. Made of soft cotton, the closures are coconut shell buttons. Just beautiful.

Funky Duvet Covers for Men - Ok... Cool and Funky, but not TOO wild!
While my dad may not really care about funky duvet covers, his 18 year-old grandson might like the trend. When I look at some of these, I think of someone who has a somewhat hip sense of style, maybe a little metro. There is nothing outlandish here - just some awesome patterns - some a little bit retro looking. Classy looking with just an ever-so-slight edge to it.
This makes me think of a city or "hip" apartment for some reason.
This is just quirky enough! It caught my eye and I figured if it caught MY eye, it might catch yours as well! :)
And now a few for the VERY young men in your family!
I heard from a reader that she would like to see a few covers and bed sets for little boys. These adorable choices may not be the grownup men would choose, but having a little 2-year old grandson that loves his Shrek comforter... well, I guess I couldn't resist!
Ok. maybe ONE more character! Spidey is also always in style. :) Or at least it seems that way right now... I'm not sure how Hollywood and Marvel Comics has kept Spiderman's popularity so high for all this time, but who's to argue with success?
I saw this one and instantly liked the timeless nature of the design. The set is getting high marks - one parent did say that all the vehicles face "one way." Never thought of that! :) But, it's something to consider when putting the set on the bed.
How to Put on a Duvet Cover - Video Demonstration - If you have ever struggled to put a duvet into its cover, watch this!
Frankly, I have struggled with putting a duvet into its cover in the past, so when I found this particular video, I thought that perhaps you might find this as helpful as I did! It's a short little demonstration that clarified this little task nicely! If you're a dog lover, you'll love the ending scene! :)

We love our Mantis small garden tiller. You wouldn't believe how much garden this baby can churn up!
These portable garages and shelters are very handy, and an economical way to store cars, motorcycles, or even yard and garden tools. They come in a lot of different sizes too.
If I had a dollar - no, even a nickel - for every time someone said to me, "Oh! You've been out in the sun!" or in winter weather "Oh! You've been out in the wind!" I would have a serious collection...
