Spotbot Carpet Cleaner by Bissell
So a couple years ago I saw an ad for the Bissell Spotbot & like most people I had that dream of never scrubbing pet bio hazards out of my rug again. Being the doubter that I am I assumed it was all hype & I'd waste $100 on another useless household gadget.
Once I finally broke down & bought one I was flat out amazed. This thing not only worked, it did better than I could hand scrubbing the carpet. It even pulled up several old stains I had given up on ever coming out.
I've had mine over 3 years & it's a daily part of cleaning around here. So far we've ad no technical issues & it works perfectly.

Spotbot Info...
Before treating any stain, you should first:
Gently scrape up semi-solids with a paper towel. Do not use a knife or other utensil with sharp edges because it could damage the carpet or upholstery. Blot up liquids with an absorbent cloth or paper towels. White materials are recommended because certain dyes may bleed and make the stain worse. Remove the remaining semi-solids and residue with a sweeper or vacuum. Be sure to pre-test any spot removal solutions or chemicals on an inconspicuous area first. This is extremely important; different dyes and materials could be damaged or discolored by a cleaning solution. If such a change should occur, try a different solution or just use plain water.

The Cons of the spotbot...
With everything there is the good, bad & ugly....
*It beeps when it's done. Every 15 seconds it beeps & doesn't stop until you hit the stop button. (I cannot stand beeping)
*the funky water collection container gets pretty gross...I mean Really hairy nasty gross & it's not possible to scrub out. I ended up replacing the collection tank with one of the newer Microban ones & it seems to have seriously helped.
Well that's it those are my only complaints about the Spotbot.
Easy to use push button controls
