Hope ( not really a hopeful poem but a poem inspired by a photo )
A darkened heart drowned in merciless fear
As a damned fallen angel unable to shed a tear
Your distorted reflection drives a stake through my heart
Since your broken sorrowful words tear it apart
Oh! your scars won't heal
Yet, your pain is surreal.
An ancient soul destined to lose way
A scared beauty filled with dismay
Darrkness has created a heart of stone
A beast that will never cry or moan
Bouncing between the living and the dead
Rejected! When peace was the thing you plead
Hope! You don't have to look so broken
Split with me the pain. Share the burden
Lay all your fears on my shoulder
You don't have to burn alone any further.
