Make money just by sitting there and blankly staring

Sit There and Stare

Just buy my ebook and learn the unique secrets that allowed me to go from a normal Internet bumpkin to a marketing guru who makes $1000 just by sitting there and staring. I will equip you to make money just by sitting there like you are already doing.

A lot of people are tapping into the potential of "sit there and stare" marketing

How does sit there and stare work?

Sit There and Stare Marketing involves two parts.

  1. You sit there.
  2. People stare at their computers.

You have probably spent a good bit of time in group 2, staring at your computer. Well I am a marketing guru who is about to reveal a well-kept secret to you that will change everything forever. I am going to tell you how to move from group 2 to group 1.

Once you are in group 1, you will be making money. The trick is that rich people on the Internet will pay just to have people stare at their ads. Group 2's ability to stare blankly at those computer monitors can translate directly to your profit.

My ebook will teach you how to be a guru like me that matches rich people with ads to boring people who stare at their computers.

Realize your potential to sit there

Most people who are staring at their computers are already sitting there. But staring is for small fish. The big fish who make the big dollars are the ones who realize that they are sitting there.

Once you read my ebook and learn my guru secrets you will have the ability to make money using other people who just blankly stare at their computers.

Couch potatoes grow anywhere

Just like normal potatoes, couch potatoes grow everywhere. Just look around. People all over the world are sitting at their computers staring. With the special secrets in my one-of-a-kind ebook, you will be able to start making money off those people all around the world. You will be a Couch Potato Farmer.

Patton Oswald got his start blankly staring

Patton Oswald's Success Story

Patton Oswald parlayed his sit there and stare campaign into a film role. He got a job in a movie, something pundits said would be impossible after his daring cameo in Balls of Fury. But that is the magic of sit there and stare marketing. He has used sit there and stare to promote himself, and he is thusly unstoppable.

Mike Gravel's Failure

Some of you might remember Mike Gravel. It is most likely that nearly none of you remember Mike Gravel or the fact that he ran for the Presidential elections in 2008.

He has a youtube video (with nearly half a million views) in which he stares at the camera blankly for a few minutes before throwing a rock into a pond. But he didn't have enough support for the Presidency. Where did Mike go wrong?

First, he breaks his concentration and throws a rock into a pond. You don't have to work hard, but you do have to be dedicated. Sit there and stare means no rock-throwing.

Second, he does not sit there. He stands the whole time. You see, my program will teach you how to sit there while others do the heavy staring for you. Sorry, Mike. Better luck next time.

I'm not making money on the internet - yet. I'm not a couch potato either. I'm working hard to improve my knowledge and skills. As for buying ebboks - they're all over the place. People promise to tell their secrets but most of the time I find I would be paying for what I already know (I've seen many of these ebooks and reviews are available). Making money on the internet is hard work - I don't think you can make money by just staring at the screen - unless you have put in lots of work beforehand.

uhm, hahaha. I'm glad you think so too, Jooles.

Hmmm. I would have thought a "guru" would turn up in search engines but when I did a Yahoo or Google search for a "sit there and stare money making e-book, I got nothing. Except, of course, this hub. Something to think about I suppose.

I guess this technic will be very successful in future, there are already lots of followers everywhere :D

haha, yes funride! People around the globe have been sitting there and staring for some time now.

Bonnie, try doing a search for "What is satire?" or "define: irony". I am loving how many people think this is serious.

I guess you just hit a site where people are smart enough to do some research before falling for just anything. Most of us here have heard all of the "get rich and do nothing" offers that are being thrown around the internet. And most of us realize that you won't get rich without hard work, regardless of what opportunity you decide on.

Bonnie, you're making me giggle. Or blush. Or something.

I thought it was funny, I'm surprised people thought you were serious. Hey, if you can sell people this easily, maybe you should write the ebook.

I agree, Shirley. So far I see 2 who have asked for more information, which has not yet been given. The info isn't even in the profile as to this astounding book. I guess it is also lost in the SE's with all the rest of the "get rich easy" materials.

are you a scammer? or are you a spammer? i haven't made up my mind as yet but there is a probability that you are both, how much do we need to pay to learn your earning secret?

mroconnell well done you show people how easy it is to fall for such rubbish.....jimmy

Bonnie and Jimmy, I think he is a comic ;)

Bonnie Ramsey profile image

Bonnie Ramsey 8 years ago from United States

Well if it is meant as a comical mock then that is fine but it would be beneficial to those who are reading to post a note at the bottom to this extent. I did miss the smal sentence at the bottom about the low quality articles because I rarely look at links on posts like this. I almost marked it as spam to begin with.

Funride, you know how much we get scammed and pammed in this site so naturally we are always watching for the "garbage" hubs like that. If I have misunderstood this to be real when it is meant to be comical then I certainly have no problem apologizing for the comments. Just give us a heads up next time!

Lol. there is no such thing as sit there, do nothing and earn money. You have to work at whatever work you do:) Plus, I believe that in whatever work you do, you have to enjoy doing - the self fulfilment of what you do is what is most important. (yes most of us start working because we have to make ends meet - but if you have something that you think you have always aspired to work in - then why not go for it and try your best to get it?) ... if you see what I mean..??:) - be down to earth - but always aim high:)

People - this hub is supposed to be funny. It's a joke. Get it?

mroconnell profile image

mroconnell 8 years ago from France Author

Oh, wow, I'm glad some people are laughing. To those who were shrewd enough to realize this was a fraud without realizing it was a joke, I do not know what to say. But thanks for playing along I guess? To those who want more information or to buy the ebook, just send me a money order for a fictionally large number of dollars like one gajillion or thirboom kintillion.

Thanks for reading everybody. Please check out the other sweet marketing articles about things like Pirate Marketing, Peanut Butter Marketing and how to write bad articles in greater quantity.

Ok, I was had on the joke part. That is mostly due to the fact that I see so many of these "offers" that aren't jokes. The sad part is the number of people that will pay for it in search of something better than what they have. Since I devote a lot of my time trying to help educate people on how to look for the right types of opportunities, I do tend to get a bit overzealous when I think there is a scammer in the midst LOL.

I do think, however, that it would be so much more productive if we had more people trying to help educate people on this type of thing rather than mocking them since this could cause some to feel foolish. Many people fall for things like this because they are new to the internet, new to business opportunities or simply at a desperate time in their life. If they are made to feel foolish, they may never seek out the information they need to learn what to avoid and how to look for new opportunities.

Of course, this is my humble opinion, which I know doesn't count for much but I just think we have the ability to actually help some learn how to properly look for business opportunities.

well what can i say that hasnt been said in any of the other comments, you are trying to sell a ebook which will probably contain stuff that everybody knows about already, didnt really buy into it

mroconnell profile image

mroconnell 8 years ago from France Author

bonnie, I guess I should just come out and tell you that I was trying to make fun of people who write worthless get rich quick articles. I want to mock those people and make them feel foolish. I assume that is your goal too since your first couple posts (when you thought I was serious) were sort of derisive. I never in my wildest imagination thought that people would think I was being serious. That is a secondary, unintentional mockery. I plan on making other articles like this because they make some people laugh.

adam, I'm afraid that has been said in some of the other comments. You might have also noticed the comments that pointed out the satirical nature of the article. I'm glad you didn't buy into it, I guess.

Seriously, I have to think that people doesn´t really read the hubs and/or comments :/ after reading it all again I can´t see how someone could believe Mr. O`Connell was trying to sell something real in this one. I think (IMHO) the title says it all ;)

Bonnie Ramsey profile image

Bonnie Ramsey 8 years ago from United States

LOL. Funride! Have you seen all the ads plastered all over the internet that says "Get rich while you sleep"??

Mroconnel, I will humbly apologize for my misunderstanding you post and intentions. I guess we are both on the same mission after all, just from different angles! LOL. I did read some of your other hubs and I can understand where you are coming from. I will be looking forward to reading more and I wish you the best in your mission. There are so many scammers out there that we need to work every angle possible, right? My apologies extended.

I found out that this hub was in fact a reply to a request made by someone who wanted to know how to make a thousand dollars a month on the internet. It makes me wonder who will be the work force when everyone is on the internet making so much money.

Who will build our houses? And, my goodness, who will nanny our children!!!!?
