Roomba 560 Review
Are You Tired of Being a Slave to Housework?
What is the Roomba 560?
The Roomba 560 is the latest model of the iRobot vacuum cleaner which will clean your hard floors and carpets for you. Yes you really can sit back and watch while a robot cleans your floors for you.
The earlier Roomba iRobots had a few problems but there seem to have been largely corrected in this new model.
It does sound too good to be true but it actually works - once you have one you will wonder what you ever did without one.
Will My Roomba Vacuum Better Than I Can?
Won't My iRobot Crash Into Things?
One of the problems with the older models is that they sometimes got caught in cables on the fringes on rugs. Some earlier Roomba models would literally get into a big tangle when faced with a cable challenge!
Well iRobot Roomba has solved this annoying problem by sensing when it has caught on something like a cable or the fringe on a rug. It goes into revers and gets itself out of the mess!
Any more improvements on the earlier Roomba models like the Discovery?
The new Roomba also has 30% more cleaning power than the earlier designs. It also has better brushes including an exxternal brush which sweeps dust out of hard to reach corners and right into it's path.
The Roomba 560 also has a useful scheduler which allows you to programme it to start work while you are not at home. So you literally can return home to a clean floor!
Won't My Roomba Get Tired Of Working For Me?
How long will my Roomba iRobot Battery Last?
The iRoomba vacuuming robot returns to its self-charging Home Base to dock and recharge between cleaning cycles or when the battery starts to run low.
How long does the Roomba battery last?
The Roomba 560 advanced power system consists of a fast-charging battery, a three-hour charger, and a power source that supercharges the unit for up to 120 minutes of continuous cleaning, covering about three to four average-size rooms on a single charge.
What do the Roomba 560 reviews say about battery life? A lot of Roomba 560 reviews say that the battery life isn't quite what is is advertised to be and you get around 90 minutes of charge. But as the Roomba automatically finds it's way back to it's charger then there is no need to keep checking on it.
Other accessories that you will get with your Roomba include two Virtual Walls Lighthouses, a brush cleaning tool, and an extra filter.
What are the Virtual Walls? You can restrict your Roomba to a certain area so it just cleans the parts of the house that you want it to.
Do you own a Roomba 560?
