Tribute To The Greatest Artist

A Tribute To The Greatest Artist

This poem was written in the summer of 1985 during a discipleship youth camp when I was just 19 years old. Mrs. Evelyn-Miranda-Feliciano a renowned OMF writer edited this poetry. This poetry is an expression of my admiration and appreciation to the awesomeness of GOD. Poetry.com also published this poem.

I see the sun gently sets in the East

It reminds me of the greatest Artist I've known

Since I first saw the splendor of this earth

He daily paints the sky with beautiful colors

Above the vast body of the seas

With the rays of the departing sun

At the end of a tiresome day

He sets the cool and breezy night

And splatters it with moon and stars

Indeed He is the same Artist who brushes down

The lovely chestnut roses and the daffodils

That give pleasure to the eyes of men.

Isn't He the same Artist ?

Who refreshes the the charm of the green fields

Every springtime ?

Who etches the glow of summer with

His endless artistry?

Who dresses the mountains and hills green?

Yes, He is the very same Artist

Who orchestrates the streams

To a delightful music for my ears

And exactly the same Artist

Who colors my life with beauty

And creates a perfect music in my heart

He is GOD.
