The complexity of living with manic depression, for those diagnosed, for those who love them, for those who encounter them along the way.
In order to illustrate this, am writing a story about one person. There is, however, in the path he walked, a bit of every man.
A health practitioner made a comment in reference to him, not too long ago. She said, "That's what they do." I walked away wondering exactly who the "they" she referenced was supposed to be.
What I am writing is in response to her comment. There is no "they" in this or any other walk of life. What happens to one of us happens to all.
