Six years ago in high school, I know deep within me that I want to get serious with my music. I opted to take up music and was able to pass in one of the premiere schools of music and theater arts. But may parents believed otherwise so they compelled me to take up Nursing instead. Luckily, I was able to complete the degree and now, I am a registered practicing nurse. However, things happened while I was practically doing nothing. While working as a triage and intravenous therapy nurse, I became a print model and became a cover girl for a magazine. And gee I tell you, things happened so fast. I did not know attending a single go-see would work wonders like that. Then I did modelling for a while and became exposed to the entertainment scene. Then people were urging me to make some music and go back to singing.
That go-see opened a lot of opportunities to me. And I guess that is just one of the few decisions I've made that changed me for the better. It's like giving me the right signals that pursuing my music is the rightful thing to do... that I was meant to do it... :)
