If parents elected to have a large/very large family(6 or more children per household), chances are that finances are going to be stretched to the limit, especially for food. Parents of large/very large families DON'T have the luxury to purchase organic and other nutritious foods. They also don't have the luxury of purchasing meat and fish.
Parents of large/very large families would do best to purchase powdered and/or canned foods as such foods are cheaper in the long run. They also wise to purchase chicken as that is the cheapest meat available. Organic food is expensive and is beyond the budget of the overwhelming majority of large/very large families. The average large/very large family is lucky if they have enough food to go around for each child.
It is not uncommon for the average large/very large family to consume cheaper brands of foods or food byproducts. If a large/very large family has a garden then they can have organic vegetables and fruits. If a large/very large family has a farm, they can have organic meants. Otherwise, the large/very large family has to make do with powdered foods, canned foods, and food byproducts as organic foods are expensive and beyond the budgetary purview of the average/typical large/very large family of 8 and more people per household.
Parents of large/very large families can and should apply for food stamps so they can purchase more nutritious or organic foods. They also go to food banks and pantries in their neighborhood or town in order to get free or very low cost organic food. They can also go to other places where there is either free or very low cost food of a higher quality.
